Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Panchang AI mobile application ("App") operated by Panchang AI ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Nature of the Service
Panchang AI provides Vedic astrological information, Panchang calculations, birth chart (Kundli) generation, and related content for entertainment and general guidance purposes only. We do not claim scientific accuracy for any astrological content. Nothing in the App constitutes professional advice in any domain including but not limited to health, finance, legal matters, or personal relationships. You should always consult a qualified professional before making important life decisions.
3. User Accounts and Data
The App does not require you to create an account. Your birth details and chart data are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored on it. You may delete your data at any time via Settings → Delete My Data.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
4.1 Free Features
Daily Panchang details (Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Muhurta timings, Hindu Calendar) and your birth chart are available free of charge.
4.2 Premium Subscription
Certain features (daily personalised Rashifal, Dasha cycle, Kundli compatibility, lock screen widget) require an active subscription. Subscriptions are available on a weekly or annual basis. Current pricing is displayed in the App and may vary by region.
4.3 Billing
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID or Google Play account. Payment will be charged to your account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
4.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for the unused portion of a subscription period except as required by applicable law or app store policies.
4.5 Restore Purchases
If you reinstall the App or switch devices, use Settings → Restore Purchases to recover your subscription status using the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.
5. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — is the property of Panchang AI or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our prior written consent.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its related systems.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Astrological calculations are provided for reference only and may contain inaccuracies.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Panchang AI and its directors, employees, or licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Panchang AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (e.g., RevenueCat, Mixpanel, Sentry). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required by law, by providing more prominent notice. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
